AMMB Holdings Berhad
AMMB Holdings Berhad, or more commonly known as AmBank Group. AmBank Group is principally involved in investment banking, business banking, retail banking, Islamic banking and insurance services. Acquired by Tan Sri Azman Hashim in 1982, AmBank Group has flourished under his leadership and grown to become the 5th largest banking group in Malaysia by asset size. It is also the first local bank to tie-up with a foreign partner, namely Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Banking Group. Amcorp is currently the second largest shareholder of AmBank Group.
RCE Capital Berhad
RCE's core business is in the provision of personal loans through strategic tie-ups with cooperatives via its wholly-owned subsidiary namely RCE Marketing Sdn Bhd ("RCE Marketing"). RCE Marketing employs a unique distribution-collection mechanism whereby repayments are done via the government-initiated Salary Deduction Scheme, administered by Angkatan Koperasi Kebangsaan Malaysia Berhad (ANGKASA), the country's centralized collection agency for participating cooperatives.
Apart from consumer financing, RCE also provides short-term financial solutions to corporate clients via RCE Factoring Sdn Bhd ("RCE Factoring"). RCE Factoring offers factoring and confirming facilities to small and medium enterprises primarily involved in trading, construction and manufacturing.
ECM Libra Financial Group Berhad
Amcorp also has another quoted direct investment, namely, ECM Libra Financial Group Berhad (7.6%) which is listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia.
ECM is an investment holding company while its subsidiaries are principally involved in investment banking, including the provision of management, advisory and investment consulting services, fund management services, stockbroking services and offshore investment banking business service.
